How this site works
One request, one electrician, and a recording notice even though Tennessee does not always require it.
Muletown Electrician is a referral service. We connect Maury County homeowners with an independent electrician. We do not own trucks, and we do not pull wire.
Calls may be recorded.
The path of a request
- You call or use the form. On this sample, neither reaches an electrician.
- On the live site, one electrician would receive the request.
- They would call you, look at the house, and price the work.
- You pay them if you hire them. If they pay for referrals, that payment is not your invoice.
Calls may be recorded
Tennessee lets a person who is on a call record it. A live version of this number would still play a notice before recording, because surprise recordings are a poor introduction and because some callers are standing in other states. The printed number is a placeholder. This sample records nothing.
Missed calls
This site does not text you back after a missed call. A live version would email the electrician instead. We are not describing an all hours desk.
Safety limit
If something is burning or smoking, call the fire department. If an outlet is hot or a breaker will not stay on, turn the breaker off and wait for an electrician. Do not open the panel. The articles on this site describe the job. They are not instructions to do it.
- Tennessee contractor and qualifying agent lookup. Public search from the Department of Commerce and Insurance for contractor license data.
- Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors, license requirements. A contractor license is required before bidding or contracting projects of $25,000 or more. Electrical work is one of the classifications. Confirm the current threshold on this page before you rely on it.
- Tennessee electrical permits. The State Fire Marshal section explains electrical permits and inspections, including the CORE system, and gives 615 741 7170 for people who do not use the online system.
